our mission needs The Seaside church of Christ on the Outer Banks of North Carolina have a special request of you at this time. The church here is in desperate need of financial support . We are happy to say we have had many churches respond to our financial request. However, we are still far short of our minimal budget. We are a sound church, and have been struggling for several years without sufficient support. We know there are churches reaching out unto all the world to preach the gospel. Sadly sometimes our own nation's mission fields are overlooked. Please help us continue to spread the gospel in this area. We have been looking for a full-time preacher for a long time. As of June 2002 we are happy to say we have hired a full-time preacher. He and his wife, and their two sons, have truly been a blessing. We are so pleased that they have accepted to come and work with us. We are looking forward to a long lasting relationship with them. Brother Donnie McGhee is a former 1996 graduate of East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions. We have known the McGhee family since the church first began meeting here on the Outer Banks in 1987. Brother McGhee comes with many recommendations from several Elders, Deacons, church memebers, and many churches of Christ in NC, TN, WV, OK, KY, and VA. Any financial amount would be a blessing, if there is any way possible anyone could make a long term commitment it would relieve a great burden from us here at Seaside. We are not asking any one church to carry the entire burden. We are asking serveral brethern to please do their very best. For you have our word we will continue to do our best. Thank you for taking time in the reading of our request. We are a true mission field that have tremendous financial needs. We need your help. Please if there are any churches that would like to help a stateside mission field, please consider the Seaside church of Christ. Please keep our work in your prayers. Lots we have purchased for our new location:
