Our History

The Seaside church of Christ began meeting here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in 1987. We first began meeting in the Kitty Hawk elementary school at mile post 1 in Kitty Hawk. In 1997 we began renting a building located at mile post 11 in Nags Head. Since our first service on the island we have steadily grown in attendance to about 25 local members. During the spring and summer seasons the church is blessed with hundreds of visiting brethern. We have had brethren come from, the West coast, mid west, the east, the north, the south, and even a family from Munich, Germany. Our record attendance was 99 during the summer season. The visitors are delighted to have a sound church of Christ on the Outer Banks. Before the church of Christ came to the Outer Banks visitors would have to drive 45 miles in one direction to worship at another sound church of Christ.

From Currituck County:
We are now meeting on Hwy 158 11 miles south of Grandy in Harbinger. On your left behind the Pots On n' Kitchen Resturant.
